For a long time now, I have a passion for letterpress and all the handmade work around it…
While looking for inspiration around the internet, I found Elegante Press, a little printing studio based in Lituania:
A few months ago, I designed a letterpressed wedding invitation for friends (I will post it here later!), and I was very happy about the printed outcome, so my partner and I decided to design a letterpressed announcement card. Sure it was more expensive than usual cards, but it was worth it. Read more about Elegante Press’ process here.

It was printed on 430g 160x160mm white paper, two pantone colours with painted edges.

Saulius and Viktoria at Elegante Press did the greatest job with our announcement cards and we couldn’t be happier with the result.
It’s somehow girly, with a retro-feeling, and I hope our families and friends had great pleasure discovering it.

We also joined a photo of our perfect baby girl in the envelope.

I wanted to create something cool, readable everywhere with recognizable colours. As I’m in my retro period… I hope you can feel the retro touch!
On the right you can see two iterations of the logo: “photo” version is the car-sticker adapted one (with rounded borders so wipers won’t tear it off so easily).

L’Ebeniste du Vin is a bar/winery situated in the heart of Paris, France.
Great logo design courtesy of my colleague, Claire Dewasmes. I just had to add the web layer to the whole thing.

The feeling is authentic, the design is a bit vintage with a modern touch, same as “L’Ebeniste du Vin”.

I also did poster, information panels and I can tell you I haven’t slept a lot during the month of may!
With this new set of artworks, we’ve been more minimalist than ever, using only their usual colors and a few masterpieces to illustrate the Museum’s collections.

I’ll post the panels and posters later, as they’ve been printed on very large canvas, they look amazing!

While visiting my own website, you get the fact I’m really into minimalism these days:
for the FEALU (Female Entrepreneurship Ambassador Luxembourg, a European project), I wanted something very clean, classy, and most of all, I wanted to play with jQuery and have a “one-page” website.
Client decided to follow me on this, and I’m very proud of the outcome, as I did all the HTML/CSS slicing and PHP/Wordpress implementing by myself.

EDIT: The website has to be slightly modified, and now uses crappy orange instead of the gorgeous blue. Sorry about that.

Last year, the Musée Archéologique d’Arlon hosted a special exhibition: “Autopsie d’un Vicus” (Autopsy of a village), this event showed to the audience several new roman discoveries archaeologists made in Arlon while digging a few different spots in the city.

I was already responsible for the invitation to the exhibition’s grand opening.
This year, the “Autopsy” moved to the Grand Curtius in Liège, and people there asked me to make an invitation again.

I Wanted to mix some flashy colours with an old image. And first thing that came to my mind when creating this one was a choir. That’s what you can see in the background: a glorious men choir!

Oh I already miss I For Us Records! They were always putting out some great music.

Who will fill the empty spot in Belgium now?

These two logos needed to use the Museum’s and Institute’s colours, and to reflect a modern feeling.
